CLEARFIELD – A Morrisdale man charged with attempted homicide pleaded guilty to lesser charges Tuesday during plea and sentencing court.

Lee Gets Up to 40 Years for Murdering Boyfriend

CLEARFIELD – A Mahaffey woman will be spending up to 40 years in state prison for the murder of her boyfriend.

Kayce Marie Lee, 32, pleaded guilty to third-degree murder Tuesday for the death of Richard Allen Bennett, 58, during the early morning hours of Feb. 4 at their Mahaffey residence.

Maines Pleads Guilty to Homicide by Vehicle

CLEARFIELD – A Morrisdale woman pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle during sentencing court Tuesday.

Rhonda Paige Maines, 20, was traveling home when her Ford Focus struck Boyd Shirey, 77, while he was trying to remove a dead deer from Deer Creek Road in Graham Township at 9:15 p.m. on Aug. 10, 2017.

Clearfield Man Wanted on Drug, Assault Charges

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man is wanted on drug- and assault-related charges, Lawrence Township police say.

Christopher A. Luce, 31, has been charged with felony counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and intentional possession of a controlled substance.

Lawrence Twp. Police Investigating Reported Burglary

HYDE – Lawrence Township police are investigating a reported burglary.

According to police, the incident occurred Dec. 11 on Clarendon Avenue in Hyde. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s residence and removed jewelry, electronic equipment, an X-box, controllers, Madden video games, cash and various other items.
