DUBOIS – On Tuesday night, DuBois City Council reviewed its preliminary budget for the upcoming year.
According to council, the budget doesn’t call for a tax increase and currently stands at 23.5 mills. It’s balanced with projected revenues and expenses, totaling $14,686,540.
Council will hear public comment on the city’s budget at 6:50 p.m. Dec. 10 and Dec. 26.
Also, Police Chief Blaine Clark is asking residents not to use pick-up trucks to plow their sidewalks. He said trucks shouldn’t be driven on the city’s sidewalks for any reason.
