DUBOIS – Sandy Township Manager Dave Monella announced his resignation, effective Nov. 15, at Monday’s Sandy Township meeting.
Monella served as the Sandy Township public works director before being named the township manager in January of 2014. The supervisors thanked Monella for his years of service.
In other business, it was reported that discussions are continuing between Sandy Township and DuBois City with regards to the water and sewage systems.
Progress was being made on the sewage system, and it would be beneficial to both communities, stated Supervisor Kevin Salandra.
However, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) would need to grant approval before any agreement is completed on the water system.
