Clearfield Borough
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a trespassing incident along Park Avenue Extension. During the incident, police say that a male fled from an apartment building.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male on South Fifth Street. However, police were unable to locate the male.
- Police located a male who had an active warrant on East Cherry Street. He was able to satisfy the warrant.
- Police stopped a vehicle along Nichols Street and learned the driver had an active warrant. She was able to satisfy the warrant on-scene.
- Police reported that a bike was returned to its owner after it was located along North Second Street.
- Police assisted a female who was in search of mental health resources.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Wednesday in the area of the Riverside Motel. During the incident, a 57-year-old Clearfield man had allegedly made a lewd and or threatening comment in reference to a previous incident. While at the scene, police determined the caller was wanted by the Centre County Sheriff’s Department. She was taken into custody and housed at county jail. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
- Police received a report about a theft that occurred Wednesday at Wal-Mart. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a woman’s debit card and then made 11 fraudulent transactions on her account in May and June. Police don’t have any suspects at this time, and their investigation is continuing.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred at a Thompson Street residence. During the incident, a known juvenile allegedly caused damage to property. Police handled the incident on-scene.
- The school resource officer received a report about a fight between two juvenile males on campus. The offender received detention and will also be cited for his actions.
- Police received a traffic complaint at the school. Several motorists were warned for violations entering school property. Police would like to remind citizens to obey all traffic signs entering and exiting the school and warn that all violators will be cited.
- Police received a report from personnel at the high school office about a juvenile female who was allegedly found in possession of pills. The SRO subsequently confiscated the pills.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment via communications involving three adult females. Police have warned those involved to cease their inappropriate online activities, or they will be arrested.
- Police are investigating an alleged incident of false reports.
- Police are investigating several fraud cases reported by Curwensville Ambulance. In commission of the crime, several people allegedly received reimbursement checks from their insurance but didn’t forward the funds to the ambulance service, as required.
