Sarvey Insurance Among First to Offer Erie Insurance Medicare Supplement Plans

BROOKVILLE — On Monday Sarvey Insurance will be among the first agencies in Pennsylvania authorized to sell Erie Medicare Supplement Plans.

As Pennsylvania’s premiere auto and home insurance company, Erie Insurance has announced that it will add to its robust line of insurance products by offering Medicare Supplement plans at competitive rates.

Erie Insurance has never before offered Medicare Supplement plans.  This year marks a new era for Erie Insurance and Erie Family Life.

“There are several options for those in our community who are eligible for Medicare,” says Deana Lemmon, manager of Life & Health products at Sarvey Insurance.  “Medicare Supplement plans like those offered through Erie Insurance seek to fortify and diminish the gaps in coverage that exist between Medicare Plans A & B.”

Lemmon adds, “As a local resource, we plan to open our schedules during this year’s Medicare Annual Enrollment Period – we will even have special Saturday hours set aside to help our neighbors explore the various options available to them.”

Each year, several thousand people enroll for the first time in Medicare Plans A & B, most of which are at or near retirement.

“People are enjoying a better quality of life and are living longer these days,” Lemmon states.  At present, there are 58.5 million people in the United States who rely upon Medicare as their primary source for health security.

“Medicare supplements, like the one’s being offered through Erie Insurance, exist to make sure that people have access to good health care and can manage the costs associated with that care,” says Lemmon.

Sarvey Insurance will begin providing service for Erie Medicare Supplement plans on Monday at its office locations in DuBois, Brookville and Punxsutawney.
