Clearfield Man Faces Felony Charges for Having Sex with Teen

CLEARFIELD – A 19-year-old man is facing charges for having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

On Thursday, Brock Allen Bowman of Clearfield, was charged by Officer Zachary S. Cowan of the Lawrence Township Police with aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, disseminate explicit sexual material to a minor, corruption of minors, criminal use of communication facility, and indecent assault-person less than 16-years-old.

Bowman is being held in the county jail in lieu of $250,000.

Local Men Charged in Clearfield Burglary, Arson Case Waive Hearings

CLEARFIELD – The two men charged with burglary and arson for entering a home in Lawrence Township waived their rights to preliminary hearings Wednesday during centralized court.

Stephen Jon Zimmerman, 22, New Millport and Nevin Edward Kruise, 27, Westover were also charged by Elliott Neeper of the Lawrence Township Police with criminal trespass, criminal use of communication facility, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, two counts of reckless burning, risking a catastrophe, possessing instruments of a crime, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Man Facing Felony Firearm Charges for Firing Rounds into the Air Near a Road Crew Waives Hearing

CLEARFIELD – A Bethlehem man accused of firing a gun near a road crew waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday during centralized court.

Jernane Lamont Coleman, 43, is facing felony counts of possession of firearm prohibited and firearms not to be carried without a license in addition to a misdemeanor count of recklessly endangering another person.

Goldenrod Residents Question LT Supers Regarding Zoning Issue

CLEARFIELD – The meeting room was packed at Tuesday’s Lawrence Township Supervisors meeting, with most of those present residents of the Goldenrod area with questions for the supervisors regarding zoning.

During the meeting June 5, residents expressed concerns about a recent zoning change that affected several areas of the township, including lots adjacent to Goldenrod and Rivers Bend properties.
