Sixth Annual Bloom and Berry Bash is June 23 in Downtown Clearfield

CLEARFIELD – Food and craft vendors, kid’s games and activities and live entertainment will soon fill the streets in the heart of downtown Clearfield.

The sixth annual Bloom and Berry Bash, hosted by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC), will be held June 23. Festivities will get under way at 10 a.m. on Market, Third and Locust streets.

More than 80 artisans will display their talents with works ranging from ceramics, wood and leather to metalwork and jewelry to photography and art.

Live entertainment will feature Brianna Blankenship from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and Guiternia students from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. in the Clearfield County Courthouse Square.

In conjunction with its Bloom and Berry Bash, the CRC will also host its Rubber Duck Derby/50-50 raffle. It will be drawn at 3:45 p.m.

Each rubber duck will race its way at the festival’s duck pond. Ducks will carry numbers that correspond with purchased tickets. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.

The ducks are awaiting purchase and a chance to be chosen to win their ticket holder a cash prize. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win; only 300 tickets will be sold.

A limited number of souvenir rubber ducks will be given out to children who visit the duck pond.

Tickets can be purchased on the CRC Web site, www.discoverclearfield.com, or at its office. For more information, call the CRC office at 814-765-6000.
