Police: Bag of Assorted Jewelry, Precious Metals Found in Susquehanna River

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – Lawrence Township police are seeking information after a bag of jewelry/precious metals was found in the Susquehanna River near the Hyde Bridge.

According to the report, police have a gallon Ziploc bag with an assortment of 73 pieces. It was found June 10 by a Clearfield male who turned it over to police.

Most pieces were in smaller bags with price tags, and the estimated total value is more than $1,660. It is currently unknown if the items were stolen and or discarded, police say.
