BOGGS TOWNSHIP – A crew from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will perform pipe replacement work this week in Boggs Township that will include a three-day closure along a section of Route 2007 (Burly to West Decatur Road) in Clearfield County.
From Monday, June 11 through Wednesday, June 13, a section of Route 2007 will be closed—just off Route 322. An official detour using Route 2007, Route 2024 (Old Erie Pike), and Route 2051(Drane Highway) will be in place.
This is a job to replace a large cross pipe in the area, which is necessary before paving along the road can take place. All work will take place during daylight hours, with the detour in effect around the clock.
Should work progress allow, PennDOT will re-open the road early. All work will be done by Clearfield County Maintenance employees.
Drivers are reminded to follow official detour signs, obey posted speed limits, and always buckle up.
