Esther Louise Neeper, 78, of Clearfield died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her home.
She was born Dec. 27, 1939, a daughter of the late Leonard Lee ‘Hoppy’ Glace Sr. and Betty Louise (Miller) Glace.
She was a homemaker. She was also employed as a waitress and server at multiple establishments in the area.
She was a member of the ladies auxiliaries of the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post No. 6, the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars F. Michael Sicks Post No. 1785 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812.
She is survived by her children, Edward Neeper Jr. and his wife, Lorie (Jeannie) of Curwensville, Earl Neeper and his wife, Annette and Tina Neeper, both of Clearfield, Brenda Sloppy and her husband, Gerald of Ansonville, Anita Voss and her husband, Donald of Manassas, Va., and Brian Neeper of Butler; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Kephart and Thelma Maines, both of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Leroy Neeper, on April 23, 1997 and to whom she was wed Dec. 19, 1958 at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leonard ‘Sonny’ Glace Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Burial will follow in the Centre Cemetery, Hyde.
Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
