Rose M. Rauch, 88, of Clearfield died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born Nov. 29, 1929, a daughter of the late Walter and Frances (Billotte) Kyler.
Mrs. Rauch worked at Bell Telephone as an operator and Shawville Coal and Lingle Coal Company. She worked in various bookkeeping positions and most recently for Lawrence Township.
She was a member of the Shawville United Methodist Church, where she volunteered for various events. She was also a member of the LIFT Group.
She’s survived by three children, Louis Rauch and his wife, Darlene of Curwensville, Colleen Rumery and her husband, John of Clearfield and Bonnie Myers of Indiana; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Francine Shipley of Shawville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Joseph Rauch, to whom she was married Aug. 19, 1949 and who died Aug. 23, 1999; three brothers, Louis, Rene and Everett Kyler; two sisters, Yvonne Stradley and Loretta Chencharick; a son-in-law, Robert Myers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. Robert Henry officiating. Burial will be at Eden Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited to the funeral home from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday.
