Two People Will Face Charges After Traffic Stop Yields Drugs, Paraphernalia

CLEARFIELD – Two people will face charges after a traffic stop yielded drugs and paraphernalia.

According to the incident report, Lawrence Township police were requested to assist the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop at 11:30 a.m. Thursday on Bigler Avenue.

Upon investigation, police determined the male driver was allegedly under the influence and in possession of “various amounts” of drugs and paraphernalia.

Police say his passenger was also under the influence and in possession of “large quantities of methamphetamines” and paraphernalia.

Police took the driver for a legal blood draw; he was later housed in county jail. His passenger was also jailed until he could become sober.
