Richard M. Johnson, 90, of Brockport died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
Born Jan. 28, 1928 in Ridgway, he was the son of the late George and Marie (Wise) Johnson.
He was married to Mildred E. (Lehman) Johnson. She preceded him in death Jan.10, 2009.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in World War II. He retired as a union carpenter with Local 947 after 60 years of service.
He is survived two sons, Jack E. Johnson and his wife, Robin of Brockport and George M. Johnson of Quarryville; three grandchildren, Josh, Justin and Erica Johnson; and a great-grandchild, James Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Betty Erickson and Jean Wagner and a daughter-in-law, Tammy Johnson.
There will be no public visitation and private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Oakmont Cemetery, Ridgway.
