State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime between March 30 and Wednesday on Main Street in Bigler Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed four Jeep rims from the victim’s backyard and then fled the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment/corruption of minors that occurred March 29 on Cresswood Drive in Woodland. According to state police, a mother found out her juvenile daughter had been “going out” frequently with a 19-year-old. It’s unclear what the teen’s intentions are with the juvenile. When the teen and juvenile arrived at a Woodland residence, a 36-year-old man allegedly struck him in the face. No injuries were observed and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about counterfeit money Monday at Smyers Store in Sykesville Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly passed a counterfeit $20 as payment. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Philipsburg
- On Wednesday state police received a report about a lost backpack in Philipsburg Borough. It’s believed the backpack fell out of a vehicle between the Philipsburg YMCA and Cherry Street. It was described as being a navy blue Under Armor backpack and inside was a laptop computer, various school books and binders. Anyone who has information or finds it is asked to contact state police at 814-342-3370.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Wednesday on Good Street in Kerr Addition. During the incident, two males were involved in a verbal altercation. It was not physical in nature, and one male left the residence without incident. No further action was required of police.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about the theft of electronics from the Goodwill Store. During the incident, a female was working in the store for community service and was allegedly caught on camera stealing a Blu-ray 3D Home Entertainment System. Police say the female initially denied taking it but later admitted to the theft. She will be charged for the incident through the district court.
- Police received a report about a disturbance on East Park Avenue. Upon arrival, police met with a female who said she was yelling at her son about his checks. He told police the same and said he didn’t want his mother there. Police say the two were separated and no further action was taken.
