Cynthia C. Cantolina, 61, of Philipsburg went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born Dec. 6, 1956 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell R. “Bub” and Ila M. “Dove” Maines Evans.

Surviving are her companion, Chuck Hetrick of Philipsburg and her children, Prudence L. Perks and Richard L. Cantolina Jr., both of Morrisdale, Brandy L. Muniz and her husband, Edson of Frederick, Md., and Samantha J. Bowser of Clarence.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren; a sister, Pamela R. DeGrasse of Morrisdale; and her brothers, Alan Matthew “Joe” Maines and his wife, Linda of Woodland and Mitchell D. Evans of Munson.

Along with her parents, she was preceded by a half-brother, Frankie Hill.

Mrs. Cantolina was a homemaker and loved to crochet, but she mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, and again from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service with the Rev. W. Dean Krause officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Shiloh.
