Karen Ann Dixon Michael, 63, of Reynoldsville died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital.
Born Sept. 7, 1954 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Carl W. and Ruth G. (Hoover) Dixon.
She was a graduate of the DuBois Area High School in the class of 1972. She worked at DuBois Glass & China and Valley Dairy Restaurant.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, poetry and going camping.
She is survived by two sons, Michael P. Murray and his wife, Laura of Reynoldsville and Dylan A. Michael and his wife, Ashley of Fort Campbell, Tenn.; a daughter, Christina S. Kinder of DuBois; a brother, Paul Dixon and his wife, Patty of Altoona; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two nieces; and a close friend and caretaker, Cathy Wyant.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry A. Dixon.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Lay Minister Brad Clinton officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
