State police at Clearfield
- State police responded to a disturbance Wednesday on the Morrisdale-Allport Highway in Morris Township. A known female was allegedly found in possession of bath salts and paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a reported altercation between a male and female on South Second Street. Police found that it was a verbal argument.
- Police received a report about a male who was acting suspiciously in the area of High and Clark streets. Police found he was in need of a mental health evaluation. He was subsequently transported to the hospital.
- Police received a report about suspicious people on Leavy Avenue. However, they left the scene prior to police arrival.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call on Daisy Street. Upon arrival, police found that a child was playing with a dead cell phone.
- Police located a male who was staggering along Daisy Street. He was allegedly highly intoxicated. Charges were filed through the district court.
- Police responded to a reported altercation between a male and female on South Second Street. They agreed to separate for the evening. No charges were filed as a result.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along Bigler Avenue.
- Police responded to the hospital for a patient who was being disorderly and causing problems for the staff. Upon arrival, police assisted with helping the patient calm down.
- Police responded to a trespassing complaint on Williams Street. Upon investigation, it was found that the people were permitted to be there.
- Police received a report about a male who was along the roadway and possibly intoxicated in the area of South Fourth and East Cherry streets. Upon arrival, police found that he was highly intoxicated and also suffering from the cold weather. Emergency personnel transported him to the hospital for treatment.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported on an incident of DUI that occurred Thursday at the Clearfield Mall. According to police, a suspicious vehicle was located at the rear of the mall. Upon making contact with the driver, he was allegedly found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are currently pending laboratory analysis.
- On Wednesday police were requested to assist the deputy coroner at a Morrison Road residence. According to police, a 64-year-old man appeared to have died of natural causes. His name is not being released at this time due to family reasons. No further information is available.
- Police reported on a drug-related incident that occurred Tuesday on River Road. According to police, a backpack was left behind by a student at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center. It allegedly contained numerous items of drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana. Police are continuing their investigation and charges are pending at this time.
DuBois City
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female at a West Washington Avenue residence. She was in the company of family and everything was found to be OK.
- Police were requested to meet with a male in regards to found drug paraphernalia. Police took possession of the paraphernalia, and it was properly disposed of.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in front of the DuBois High School on East DuBois Avenue. According to police, a Ford Escape rear-ended a Jeep Cherokee; it subsequently rear-ended a Chevy Trax. The Escape had moderate damage to its front end and was towed from the scene; both the Jeep and the Trax had minor rear-end damage and were driven from the scene. Police say a Jeep passenger was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
