William Hirsch, 71, of Clearfield and a patient at the Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville, died March 19, 2018.
Born Nov. 11, 1946, he was the son of Emil and Margie Hirsch. He was married to the former Phyllis Bowman.
He worked for Norfolk-Southern Railroad. He was a member of the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and many brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; sons, William and Shawn; a brother, Leroy Hirsch of Abilene, Texas; granddaughter, Josaline; and grandson, Ian.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Reed Funeral Home in Houtzdale is in charge of the arrangements.
