Deloris J. (Murray) Beatty, 88, of Clearfield died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 25, 1929 in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of John and Mary V. (Bailey) Murray.
She was formerly employed at the Clearfield Cheese Company for more than 10 years. She was a member of the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by five children, Jewel Bruce of Lawrenceville, Pa., Raymond Young and her husband, Carol of New Columbia, Pa., Arlene Thompson and her husband, Gene of Florida, Arlen Young and his wife, Cindy of Milton, Pa., and Faith Millinder and her husband, Greg of Clearfield; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Wilma Jane Wisor and her husband, Edward of West Decatur; a close friend, Kim Cole of Clearfield; and a son-in-law, James Harper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Alfred B. Young; second husband, Lee Wilver; third husband, Clifford Smay; and fourth husband, James W. Beatty; two daughters, Carol J. Casher and Fawn J. Young; a grandson, Shannon Casher; a great-grandson, Jacob Casher; and two half-brothers, Phillip and Allen Young
A public memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Hyde Wesleyan Church. Burial will be held in the Bundy Cemetery in Penfield.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. April 14 at the church.
