The Clearfield County Probation Office has released its first list of persons who owe fines, costs and restitution through the criminal system and who are “seriously in arrears.”
These persons will have 30 days to contact the Probation Office to make payment arrangements.
These persons will also be subject to a formula to determine the amount to be paid upfront and then any subsequent payment plan.
Any listed person who doesn’t contact the Probation Office within 30 days will have a warrant issued for his/her arrest. When the next list is released, it will also contain the names of persons for whom warrants have been issued.
This list is being released on the Probation Office’s Facebook page and to local media for publication. When a person makes satisfactory payment arrangements, their name will be removed from the Facebook page.
