State police at Clearfield
- On Monday a black women’s wallet was found at the intersection of George and Hannah streets in Houtzdale Borough. It contained several toothpicks, identification cards, banking cards, vehicle keys and other miscellaneous items. The owner can contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred in December of 2017 at Leyo’s Shurfine Store in Beccaria Township. During the incident, a 23-year-old Flinton woman allegedly cashed a check from her employer at Leyo’s, despite allegedly knowing about a stop payment due to another check being issued to her. She told her employer that she’d lost her check, state police say, adding that she cashed both. Charges are pending through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary, theft and criminal mischief that occurred between Feb. 28 and Monday at a Campbell Lane residence in Penn Township. During the incident, someone gained entry to the victim’s garage by prying open the wooden door. Once inside, they allegedly removed miscellaneous tools and truck parts. State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of trespass that occurred Feb. 18 at Morning Glory Terrace in Worth Township. During the incident, someone allegedly walked around the victim’s residence in an attempt to gain entry. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-342-3370.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Feb. 25 in the area of the 400 block of State Street in Rush Township. During the incident, a known 24-year-old Kylertown man allegedly used his vehicle to cause damage to a lawn ornament belonging to the victim. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted emergency personnel after a report about a patient in cardiac arrest.
- Police responded to an alarm in the area of South Second Street and Leavy Avenue. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
- Police responded to multiple parking complaints throughout Clearfield Borough.
- Police received a report about suspicious persons in the area of the Clearfield Post Office on North Second Street. Police made contact with a male and female, and they were requested to leave the area.
- Police checked the welfare of a female who was arguing with her boyfriend.
- While on an unrelated call, police observed an elderly female fall and rendered assistance until an ambulance arrived at the scene.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft that occurred Monday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Upon arrival, police found the suspects had fled the scene. However, police were able to identify them through surveillance video due to recent arrests for other retail thefts. Charges are currently pending at this time.
