Marie Ann “Mae” Lesky, 93, of DuBois died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 at her home.
Born Dec. 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Nellie (Kaieras) Zbieg.
On Aug. 19, 1950, she married her husband of 63 years, Joseph S. Lesky. He preceded her in death Oct. 13, 2013.
She was a homemaker. She also worked for the Lithuanian Independence Club and Gleason Cherry and Cherry for many years.
She was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church
She is survived by his two daughters, Linda Rosselli and Cheryl Johnson and her husband, Richard, both of DuBois; a sister, Dorothy Laukitis of DuBois; and four grandchildren, Shawn Lesky, Michelle Johnson, Alyssa Rosselli and Jeremy Johnson.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Stella Kruzelak and Bernice Zbieg and three brothers, Stan, Steve and Edward Zbieg.
Per her wishes, there will be no public visitation.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 116 S. State St., DuBois, PA 15801 and or the charity of the donor’s choice.
