State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred between Feb. 15 and Monday on Walker Road in Pike Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took a package from Amazon that was inside the victim’s mailbox. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about a Protection from Abuse order violation that occurred Monday on Taylor Avenue in Falls Creek. According to state police, a 34-year-old Falls Creek man violated a PFA between him and his wife when he sent a text message. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about deceptive business practices that occurred Dec. 6, 1991 at the Lakelawn Memorial Park in Winslow Township. According to state police, a couple agreed to a contract to purchase two burial vaults, a bronze marker and a granite stone, two openings/closings and two grave lots. However, prosecution is declined due to it being beyond the five-year statute of limitations.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred between Feb. 10 and Saturday on Swamp Creek Road in St. Marys. During the incident, someone allegedly gained access to the victim’s camp by breaking a window and then rummaged through their belongings. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
- State police reported on a fire that occurred during the early-morning hours Monday on State Street in Curwensville Borough. State police say it was intentionally set in a garage and was found to be incendiary in nature. No injuries were reported and anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-776-6136 or the Curwensville Borough police.
Clearfield Borough
- Police reported about a small, plastic garden Gnome being located along North Fourth and East Locust streets. The owner may claim the ornament at the Clearfield police station.
- Police received a report about a male who was seen on a front porch and who fled running in the Cleo Street area. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the male.
- Police assisted fire and emergency personnel on East Locust Street after a report about a suspicious odor and a female who was suffering medical issues as a result.
- Police received a report about a person loitering around a Stewart Avenue residence. However, police were unable to locate the person.
- Police are investigating a theft from an East Market Street business. During the incident, a female was allegedly seen removing an item and leaving without paying for it.
- Police received a report about stolen medication. The person later called back advising police that he located it.
- Police received a report about an altercation between a mother and daughter on Spruce Street. Police were able to handle the situation at the scene.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with locating a vehicle that struck a sign. Police located the vehicle along Reed Street.
- Police are investigating a theft from a Turnpike Avenue resident. During the incident, items were allegedly purchased but not provided to the victim.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a fight involving several individuals along Turnpike Avenue.
- Police reported that a vehicle was removed from a parking lot without permission from the owner. The vehicle was later located in Lawrence Township. The investigation continues at this time.
- Police responded to South Second Street where a lock had reportedly been cut to a shed.
- Police received a report about a juvenile who was consuming alcohol on East Cherry Street. Police are continuing the investigation at this time.
- Police are investigating the alleged theft of an iPad.
- Police responded to a report about a two-vehicle accident on North Second Street. According to police, one driver slowed his vehicle and it was rear-ended by another vehicle. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
- Police received a report about an altercation between a male and female on East Market Street. According to police, the male was gathering his belongings and became verbally aggressive with the female. Police were able to handle the situation at the scene.
- Police received a report about an attempted break-in on Witmer Street. During the incident, someone allegedly used a tool in an attempt to gain entry into a basement window.
- Police received a report about an intoxicated male on Turnpike Avenue. Police located the male who was not intoxicated.
- Police reported that a Chester Street resident was receiving anonymous letters in the mail, which were allegedly harassing to him.
- Police responded to a reported mental health issue on East Market Street. Police were able to assist at the scene.
- Police received a report about harassment that occurred along River Road. However, police found that nothing criminal had taken place.
- Police received a report from a Turnpike Avenue resident regarding her medication being stolen. Police are continuing their investigation.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle on North Second Street.
- Police received a report about property being withheld from another person on South Second Street. Police advised the parties that the issue was civil.
- Police assisted Clearfield County Probation at a residence in an attempt to locate a probationer.
- Police received a report about damage occurring to a garage on Linden Street.
- A male was arrested on burglary and related charges after he allegedly entered an occupied residence without permission. When confronted by police, he fled out the back door and was pursued by officers. Police were able to subdue the male who was found to be under the influence of drugs. The male was subsequently transported to the jail.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with taking a male into custody on a mental health warrant and assault charges along Flegal Road.
