Leona Marie Pedmo, 50, of Allport went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb 24, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born June 2, 1967 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leon C. and Norine Argy Dingey.
On July 25, 1987 at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lanse, she wed Rodney J. Pedmo, who survives at home.
Also surviving are her daughters, Brandi M. Pedmo and her significant other, Richard McGivney of Kylertown, Ryen E. Silvestri and her husband, Ian of Indiana and Taylor R. Pedmo of Allport; her grandchildren, Allaina McGivney and Emma Silvestri; and a brother, Michael J. Dingey and his wife, Laurie of Munson.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Victoria Dingey.
Mrs. Pedmo was a member of the former Kylertown Presbyterian Church, Kylertown.
She was a 1985 graduate of West Branch Area High School, Allport, and the Centre Business College, State College, where she was a summa cum laude graduate with a specialized business degree.
She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and strong supporter for anyone.
Family and friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with Lay Minister Gary Jewart officiating. Burial will be in the Kylertown Presbyterian Cemetery, Kylertown.
