Jennifer Ellen Ertmer, 73, of Grassflat went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born Oct. 8, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James and Hazel Eld Hill.
Surviving are her children, Carlyn “Carrie” Brickley and her husband, Robert of Howard, Clayton Ertmer and his wife, Chantel of Grassflat and Amanda Wagner and her fiancé, Jeff Gordon of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was last of her generation.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lanse, and W.E.L.C.A. She was a 1962 graduate of the West Branch Area High School.
While a student of Penn State, she worked as a manager at Milesburg Travel America. She graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science degree in rehabilitation service education.
She started her career for the FBI doing data entry. She worked for NRA also doing data entry and then continued to work for Penn State, Old Main Campus, doing data entry.
Family and friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
A public memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9 at the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lanse, with the Rev. Vicki Beilfuss officiating. Burial will be in the Grassflat Lanse Lutheran Cemetery, Grassflat.
