PHILIPSBURG – A 15-year-old male student made a “possible threat of violence” Tuesday at the Philipsburg-Osceola High School, according to a public safety statement issued by Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers are currently conducting numerous in-depth interviews with involved parties and witnesses. Anyone with information to assist with the investigation is asked to call 814-342-3370.
“PSP Philipsburg is conducting a thorough investigation, and at this time, we do not believe there is a credible threat to the school or students,” state police wrote in the statement.
With concurrence of the Centre County District Attorney’s office, charges were filed through the office of Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair.
