Patricia L. “Pat” “Patsy” Rumfola, 73, of Clearfield died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018 at the Florida Medical Center, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Mrs. Rumfola was born May 27, 1944 in Clearfield, the daughter of James L. “Slim” and Levina M. (Kennedy) Flanagan.
She was a graduate of the St. Francis High School.
Mrs. Rumfola had been employed with various businesses. She most recently worked for 15 years at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, Clearfield.
She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield.
Mrs. Rumfola was a member of the Clearfield Eagles and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliaries and an associate member of the SOI.
She also volunteered and led many charity events. She was an avid bowler and bingo player; she enjoyed going to the casinos.
Each year she held an Easter egg hunt at the Meathead Lodge where every child received a prize.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack A. Rumfola, to whom she was married March 17, 1967 in Linden, NJ and two children, Jack L. Rumfola and his wife, Amy and Mary A. Rumfola, all of Clearfield.
She is survived by five grandchildren, Rachel Rumfola D’Antonio and her husband, Matthew, Ryan O’Connor and Jacob, Noah and Jonah Rumfola.
She is also survived by three sisters, Margaret Bell of Clearfield, Carol Anderson and her husband, Joel of Bainbridge, Wash., and Joan Domico and her husband, Pat of Curwensville and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Rosemary Hoy; five brothers, James, Sheridan “Bud,” John “Dick”, Leon and Terry Flanagan; and a brother-in-law, Thomas D. Rumfola.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Father Brandon M. Kleckner as celebrant.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield.
