Della Marie Hoffman, 87, a resident of the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield and formerly of South Philipsburg and Karthaus, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 after a lengthy illness.
Born Aug. 23, 1930 in Karthaus, she was the daughter of Paul and Marie (Repasky) Hoffman.
She had worked for the former DuMont Electronics. She had also been a cook at the former Clear Haven Nursing Home and was retired from Nevasky Clothing Co.
She was affiliated with the Sheppard of the Hills Lutheran Church in Karthaus.
Surviving are a son, Robert “Red” Hoffman of Philipsburg; two brothers, William Hoffman and his wife, Donna of Moshannon and Paul Hoffman Jr. and his wife, Kate of Karthaus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter Ann Marie Hoffman; a sister, Grace Kelly; a brother, George Hoffman; and a niece, Evonne Snedden.
There will be no public visitation.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Karthaus.
