Patricia Ann Dufour, 77, of Houtzdale died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at her home.
Born July 4, 1940 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of James and Vera (Taylor) McDermott.
She was a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church in Houtzdale.
She was first employed as a secretary for Lloyd Manufacturing. She later worked as secretary for D&M Manufacturing for 21 years.
She enjoyed gardening and reading, her dog, Toby and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
On Aug. 10, 1959 in St. Lawrence Catholic Church, she married Clair “Mel” Dufour, who survives at home.
Also surviving are a son, Gregory (Jennifer) Dufour of Houtzdale; a daughter, Denise Dufour of Osceola Mills; two grandchildren, Gregory Jr. and Hailey Dufour of Houtzdale; and a sister, Diana Mowchan of Ramey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Alexa Lender.
At her request, there will be no public visitation or service.
