State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Dec. 18, 2017 on East Main Street in Reynoldsville Borough. During the incident, a 31-year-old man allegedly shoved both victims multiple times.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Feb. 3 on North Front Street in Rush Township. During the incident, a 28-year-old Kylertown man allegedly kicked the victim’s car, putting a small dent near the driver’s side door.
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred Jan. 7 on Morning Glory Terrace in Worth Township. During the incident, someone entered the victim’s residence by prying open the locked basement door. Once inside, they allegedly entered a locked room forcefully. The victim believed they might have taken a box of rifle ammunition but was unable to confirm. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office with serving a warrant on a male along North Fifth Street.
- Police received a report about a vehicle being entered and rummaged through while it was parked along East Cherry Street. Police say it appears that there wasn’t anything removed from the vehicle.
- A debit card was turned into police after it was located along West Front Street.
- Police responded to an animal complaint on East Market Street. According to police, a dog was located running in the area. The owner was located and the dog was returned home.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle on Duke Street. However, it left prior to police arrival at the scene.
- A female was arrested for public intoxication after she was located under the influence on East Pine Street. She was also found to have an active arrest warrant and taken to the county jail.
- Police received a report about the theft of medication from a Spruce Street resident. The resident later called back saying he’d only misplaced it.
- Police responded to the hospital for a mental health patient who was “acting up.” Upon arrival, police spoke to the male.
Sandy Township
- On Monday a 34-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported that her 32-year-old ex-boyfriend was harassing her via text message. Police attempted to contact the man but were unable to reach him.
- On Monday a 21-year-old DuBois man lost control of his vehicle on Kiwanis Trail, which caused it to travel off the roadway and hit a tree. No injuries were reported to police.
- On Tuesday a 21-year-old Brockway woman reported that she accidently left her purse at Monroe Muffler. When she returned to retrieve it, there was money missing. Police do not have any suspects at this time.
- On Tuesday a 24-year-old DuBois woman accidently hit the gas pedal while she was stopped at the light at Industrial Drive and Bee Line Highway. According to police, it caused her vehicle to hit the one ahead of hers. It was subsequently pushed into the vehicle ahead of it. No injuries and moderate damage were reported as a result.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run involving a street sign at the intersection of Maple Avenue and South Third Street. Police were able to obtain driver information and made contact with a trucking company. Police assisted with the exchange of necessary information.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female who was leaving PNC Bank. She appeared to be having an “anxiety attack.” Police searched the area but were unable to locate the described female.
- Police received a report about a female who was yelling for help in the area of South Fourth Street and Hillcrest Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a white vehicle that was on an embankment. Police made contact with a female whose clothes appeared to be disheveled and wet; she was sitting in a stream of water. Police spoke with her and believed she was confused and hypothermic. She was assisted from the stream with the help of police and emergency personnel. She told police her vehicle slid from the roadway and into the stream. When she exited her passenger’s side door, she fell into the water. Because the stream was full of thick mud, it prevented her from getting out. The female was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
