PennDOT Adjusts Operations at Driver License and Photo License Centers Due to Inclement Weather

HARRISBURG – Due to inclement winter weather throughout much of the commonwealth, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has made the following adjustments to operations at its driver license and photo license centers statewide for Wednesday, Feb. 7, in the interest of employee and customer safety.

Driver license and photo license centers in the following counties will open at 11:30 a.m. today, weather-permitting: Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks and Delaware.

All other driver license and photo license centers will be closed. Customers with skills tests scheduled for one of the closed locations will be contacted on the next business day to reschedule.

Driver and vehicle online services are available 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week at www.dmv.pa.gov. These services include driver’s license, photo ID and vehicle registration renewals; driver-history services; changes of address; driver license and vehicle registration restoration letters; ability to pay driver license or vehicle insurance restoration fee; driver license and photo ID duplicates; and driver exam scheduling. There are no additional fees for using online services.

PennDOT officials apologize for any inconvenience.
