CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, announced the promotion of Carolyn Smeal to the position of vice president of administration.
In her new role, Smeal will join the Enterprise Risk Management team and coordinate various projects to support corporate strategic initiatives.
“Carolyn has been with CNB for over 40 years. Her knowledge and experience have been and continue to be vital to CNB’s growth,” said Bower. “In her new role, Carolyn will be able to provide insight into even more aspects of our company.”
Since she started at CNB Bank in 1975, Smeal has held the following positions: customer information system administrator, eBanking administrator, operations officer, assistant vice president/deposit operations and vice president of operations.
A native of Clearfield, Smeal graduated from the Clearfield Area High School in 1973. She has taken numerous general and specialized banking courses from the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association/Professional Development Network (PBA/PDN).
Smeal resides in Clearfield with her husband, Darrell, and is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church.
