Ellis Clair Miller, 69, of Curwensville died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 at the Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville after a lengthy illness.
Born Nov. 26, 1948 in Clearfield, he was the son of Russell and Helen (Keller) Miller.
Mr. Miller was retired from the Tractor Supply Co., as a sales associate. He attended the Curwensville Alliance Church.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Glen Richey Sportsmen’s Association, and he loved to hunt and fish.
Surviving are a sister, Lois I. Miller of Curwensville as well as 12 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Curwensville Alliance Church, Susquehanna Avenue, Curwensville, with the Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville and again from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
Military honors will be accorded at the church by members of the Clearfield Honor Guard.
