Janet Marie Mitchell, 66, of Hyde died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2017 at her residence.
Born April 19, 1951 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Guy and Catherine Elizabeth (Hudak) Rainey.
She was a certified nurse’s aide. She worked private duty and at the Clearfield Hospital
She also worked at the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library in Clearfield. She enjoyed reading, crafting and crossword puzzles.
Surviving are two children, Daniel Mitchell Jr. of Clearfield and Brenda Morgan of Stronach; two grandchildren, Danelle Mitchell of Sparks, Nev., and Joshua Mitchell of Bainey Settlement; two brothers, Guy Rainey Jr. of Texas and George Rainey Sr. of Morrisdale; and five nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no public visitation. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Fairview Cemetery, Thompsontown.
