State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Jan. 13 on State Street in Rush Township. During the incident, a 39-year-old Philipsburg woman allegedly repeatedly harassed the victim after being advised to leave his property. She was charged for the incident through the district court.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of simple assault that occurred Tuesday on Shawmut Road in Brockport. During the incident, a 31-year-old Brockport man allegedly grabbed the victim’s hand and bent it backwards, causing swelling and bruising. Charges were filed through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about an activated alarm on Dorey Street. Upon arrival, police located a key holder and determined everything was OK.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity along Barclay Street. Police will increase patrols in the area.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 879 near Spruce Street. Upon arrival to the scene, it was determined that the accident had occurred in Lawrence Township.
- Police had an iPhone turned in. The owner was located by police, and the phone was returned to them.
- Police assisted a motorist along Nichols Street who had locked their keys inside their vehicle.
- Police assisted Pennsylvania State Parole officials at an address at the Spruce Grove Trailer Court. As a result, three people were taken into custody on warrants. Police also executed a search warrant that turned up several items of drug paraphernalia and other drug-related items.
Lawrence Township
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday on Rockton Mountain. According to police, a vehicle slid off the roadway and into a ditch. It didn’t sustain any damage and was towed out of the ditch. No injuries were reported to police.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday in the area of Fire Tower Road and the Krebs Highway. David Wooster of Houtzdale was traveling east when his vehicle failed to stop at the intersection. Police say it slid through and struck an embankment before coming to a rest in a ditch. Wooster’s vehicle was towed from the scene, and he was cited for multiple offenses.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday on Mount Joy Road. According to police, a vehicle slid off the roadway and into an embankment. Upon arrival, police saw the vehicle in the embankment on its side. Its driver wasn’t injured and the vehicle was towed out from the embankment.
- Clearfield Borough police responded to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday on the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway. According to police, a vehicle slid off the roadway into a ditch. Township police were at the scene of a different accident at the time and unable to respond. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene. All information was transferred to the township police.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday on High Level Road. According to police, a vehicle slid off the roadway and into a ditch. Upon arrival, police found the vehicle had sustained minor damage, and it was towed out of the ditch. No injuries were reported to police.
Curwensville Borough
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a person on Susquehanna Avenue. Police were able to locate them and no further action was taken.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications at a Fredricka Avenue address.
- Police received a report about a theft at a local establishment. Police made contact with the person responsible who agreed to return the property.
- Police are investigating an alleged theft that occurred at an East Street residence.
- Police received a report about a domestic on Fourth Avenue.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with issuing a criminal warrant.
- Police are investigating an alleged assault on a Filbert and State Street resident. The person was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
- Police received a report about a missing juvenile who didn’t return home from school. The juvenile was later located, police said.
- Police received a report about trash being thrown out on Arnoldtown Road, which was recently cleaned up. Police located the person responsible and they agreed to clean it up.
DuBois City
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male. Upon arrival, police couldn’t make contact with anyone at the residence. Upon further investigation, police determined he’d been taken to the hospital a few days prior.
- Police were dispatched for an alarm at the U.S. Postal Service. When police contacted the key holder, they were told there shouldn’t be anyone at the facility. Upon arrival, police found the post office’s doors were secured.
- Police received a report about a 911 hang-up call at the Best Western. Upon arrival, police spoke with an employee at the front desk and found it was a misdial. Police ensured everything was Ok and cleared the scene.
