CLEARFIELD – Allison Ward attended the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) for two years and graduated from the health occupations program in 2016.
Ward said she chose the CCCTC to get a feel for the healthcare field to see if it was something she wanted to pursue after high school.
She explained it was the best decision she made because it made her a more valuable person in her field of study.
During her time at CCCTC, she said the skills and knowledge she gained put her one step ahead of everyone in her nursing class at St. Francis University.
She is currently attending St. Francis University in Loretto, Pa., where she is majoring in nursing.
Ward is only one example of how CCCTC graduates use their education to strengthen the industry in their field of study.
