David L. Coudriet, 78, of Wallaceton went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at his residence.
Born Feb. 26, 1939 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Earl F. and Lena Jamison Coudriet.
On Aug. 30, 1958 in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Frenchville, he married Eva Mae Williams Coudriet, who survives at home.
Surviving are his daughter, Janice Coudriet Clyde and her husband, David of Morrisdale; his son, David M. Coudriet Sr. and his wife, Cheryl of West Decatur; and his twin brother, Richard F. Coudriet and his wife, Joyce of Philipsburg.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, David Coudriet and his wife, Jessica, Kristina Hamilton and her husband, David, Ashley Clark and her husband, Kevin and Richelle Stanton and her husband, Adam and five great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Ryberg and a grandson, Christopher Clyde.
Mr. Coudriet was a 1957 graduate of the former Cooper Township High School. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and target shooting.
He retired after many years in the coal industry as a drag line operator.
Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
A private family funeral service will be held Thursday with the Rev. James Hollister officiating. Burial will be Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Gethsemane United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 185, 369 Allport Cutoff, Allport, PA 16821.
