Maida C. Moore, 87, of Grampian died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital after a brief illness. Born Oct. 1, 1930 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Murray and Velda (Amon) Condon.
Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and also retired from the former Clearfield Cheese Co. of Curwensville.
In 1948 she wed Robert M. Moore, who preceded her in death Dec. 26, 2011.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Esther Condon; a brother, Richard “Dick” Condon; as well as a young sister and brother.
Surviving are five children, David R. Moore and his wife, Mary Ann of Richard, Va., Gary M. Moore of Olanta, Dennis K. Moore of Windsor, Ohio, Scott J. Moore and his wife, Linda of Rockton and Patricia L. Moore of Lombard, Ill.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two sisters and a brother, Wava Condon and Russell Condon, both of Clearfield, and Helen Williams of Sanborn
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with the Rev. Scott Schultz officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
