Kenneth A. Billings Jr., 69, of Hillsdale died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at his home.
He was born Aug. 6, 1948 in Philipsburg to Kenneth and Ella (Wisor) Billings Sr. He married Sue Shaneour on Jan. 20, 2001 and she survives.
He graduated from the Clearfield Area High School in 1966. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Clearfield American Legion, Post No. 6, and a life member of Bigler-Jackson-Woodland Fire Co.
He enjoyed keeping books for the Hillsdale High School basketball and wrestling teams. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
His family was his pride and joy, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Sue Billings, he is survived by five children, Deanna (Kathy) Billings-Cottom of Hyde, Bryan (Joy) Billings of West Decatur, Jennifer (Patrick) Carfley of Curwensville, Chad (Marcia) Black of Coldwater and Kellie (Mike) Hendershot of Hillsdale; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren with another on the way; and a brother, Nathan (Barb) Billings of Philipsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edward Billings.
Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at the Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Allport with Pastor Jim Hollister officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time Saturday.
