State police at Clearfield
- State police reported that a firearm was found Saturday at the Central Hotel in Coalport Borough. State police say a Smith & Wesson 40-caliber handgun was found on the floor by an employee while they were cleaning. - State police received a report about reckless endangerment that occurred Sunday on Marron Road in Ferguson Township. According to state police, it occurred during an incident of road rage when shots were allegedly fired, striking the victim’s vehicle. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a late 90’s or early 00’s dark Honda Civic. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of simple assault and harassment that occurred Friday at a Crossroads Boulevard residence in Beccaria Township. According to state police, the victim called her daughter saying she was being assaulted by her boyfriend. During the incident, he allegedly punched her in the forearm and head area. The victim’s boyfriend, Raymond Rowles, 44, of Coalport also had a bench warrant through the sheriff’s office. He was taken into custody and charges were filed through the district court.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about a sexual assault that occurred Dec. 14 at the Chapman Trailer Court in Brady Township. A Clearfield County Children & Youth Services report alleged that a 13-year-old girl became pregnant through sexual intercourse with a known male who was over four years older than her. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred Friday or Saturday at an office building at Black Moshannon State Park in Rush Township. According to state police, the suspect(s) pried open window. Once inside, they allegedly pried open the cash box and then removed a donation box containing money, which was mounted on the wall. State police say they also cut a lock on a metal locker but didn’t remove anything from inside. They also attempted to pry open another metal locker but failed to. The suspect(s) fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money. State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal trespass that occurred Dec. 9 in the area of Johns Hill and Five Mile Run roads in Knox Township. During the incident, hunters were allegedly trespassing on the victim’s property.
- State police reported a DUI that occurred Saturday at a Valier Drive residence in Perry Township. According to state police, they responded to a domestic disturbance between a 36-year-old Punxsutawney woman and her son. Prior to the arrival of state police, she fled with her boyfriend and the vehicle’s description was provided by her son. Her vehicle was located and state police initiated a traffic stop, at which time she was allegedly found to be under the influence. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- State police have a felony arrest warrant for Dustin A. Davis, 29, of the DuBois, Punxsutawney and Summersville areas for a drug-related incident that occurred Dec. 14 in the area of Meadow Alley and South Chestnut Street in Punxsutawney Borough. - State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Dec. 8 on East Main Street in Mahaffey Borough. During the incident, two females and a male were involved in a domestic dispute.
State police at Ridgway
- State police reported on a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian that occurred Sunday at the intersection of Routes 255 and 555. According to state police, a vehicle struck a known Weedville man who was walking down Route 255. State police believe the vehicle was a blue-colored Dodge pick-up truck that’s missing its passenger’s side mirror. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported on a drug-related DUI that occurred Saturday on South Second Street in Lawrence Township. According to police, a Lecontes Mills man was found passed out in his pick-up truck, which was running. He was taken into custody for a drug-related DUI and possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. He was lodged in county jail on two, unrelated bench warrants. Charges will be filed as a result of the incident.
