Mary E. Beish, 86, of Bigler died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born Aug. 11, 1931 in West Decatur, a daughter of the late John and Ethel (Green) Bumbarger.
Mrs. Beish retired after years of employment at General Cigar. As a hobby, she loved gardening and was very proud of her flowers.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Beish and his wife, Karen of Clearfield; a grandson, Justin Beish and his wife, Lauren of Dallas, Texas; and a sister, Mabel Wood of Niagara Falls, NY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James I. Beish, on Sept. 28, 1997, and a sister, Irene Mease.
As per the wishes of Mrs. Beish, there will be no services observed.
