OSCEOLA MILLS – Clearfield-based state police are investigating a double-homicide in Osceola Mills, and the suspect has been found dead, District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. told GANT News partner WJAC-TV.

According to WJAC-TV, state police responded to a domestic incident with reports of gunshots at approximately 7:30 a.m. Friday at a residence in the 600 block of Curtin Street.

Shaw identified the shooting suspect as 26-year-old Cody Bush of Osceola Mills. He fled in his vehicle after the incident, and two bodies were located at the scene.

Chief Deputy Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder has identified the shooting victims as Victoria Schultz, 21, and her mother, Beth Schultz, 47, both of Osceola Mills.

State police say a third victim, 25-year-old Jessica A. Schultz, was shot and taken to UPMC Altoona. She is currently undergoing treatment for her injuries.

While state police were amidst an active search for Bush, his body was found near Coal Run Road and state Route 53 in Osceola Mills. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Shaw told WJAC-TV.

State police are continuing their investigation in conjunction with both the Clearfield County District Attorney’s and Coroner’s Offices.

Court records indicate that Bush was charged with stalking and harassment after an incident Oct. 29 in Osceola Mills.
