Tailor Brooke Pelton, 26, of Philipsburg went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017 at her residence.
Born Jan. 12, 1991, she was the daughter of Scott Wilkinson of Morrisdale and Angela Potts Gates of Howard.
On Nov. 14, 2015 at the Lanse Evangelical Free Church, Lanse, she wed Kyle S. Pelton, who survives at home with their son, Sawyer Pelton.
Also surviving are her brother, Justin Wilkinson of Morrisdale; her maternal grandparents, Gary and Sheila Potts of Morrisdale; paternal grandparents, Carl Sr. and Georgianna Wilkinson of Morrisdale; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Jane Rothrock of Woodland; and father and mother-in-law, Stephen and Linda Pelton of Winburne.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Helen Willett; maternal great-grandfather, Wesley Rothrock; paternal great-grandmother, Mildred Saggese; maternal great-grandparents, Burton and Janet Potts; and her uncle, Charles Wilkinson.
She was a 2009 graduate of the West Branch Area High School, Allport, and went on to receive her Associate’s degree in 2011 in nursing at Lock Haven University.
She completed her education with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing at Clarion University. She was employed as a registered nurse at Geisinger, Grays Woods, Pa.
Family and friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gospel Chapel, Woodland.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gospel Chapel, Woodland, with the Rev. W. Lee Casher officiating. Burial will be in the Allport Cemetery, Allport.
