Marjorie Skripek, 90, of Clearfield died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
Mrs. Skripek was born April 14, 1927 in Moshannon, the daughter of Mary (Cox) Hahn.
She had worked with her husband in the family business, Skripek Electric.
Mrs. Skripek was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield.
She is survived by two children, Mary Kushner and her husband, Don and Gary Skripek and his wife, Jeannie, all of Clearfield; four grandchildren, Timothy L. Kushner and his wife, Nicole, Joseph A. Kushner and his fiancée, Angie, Kathleen M. Kushner and Casey L. Skripek; seven great-grandchildren, Matt, Kyle, Jaelen, Nicholas, Jace, Kamden and Dalayni; a sister, Emma Dixon of Bellefonte; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Skripek was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George C. Skripek, to whom she was married Sept. 28, 1946 in Clarence, Pa., and who died Feb. 8, 2012; a grandson, Craig Allen Skripek; and four brothers, Arthur, Norman, Leonard and Ellwood Hahn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with Msgr. Henry Krebs officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
