Patricia L. Bowman, 74, of Olanta died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born Dec. 2, 1942 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Floyd and Edith (Hoffer) McCool.
Mrs. Bowman was a homemaker and retired from The Progress newspaper as a proofreader.
She was a member of the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church and a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.
On Aug. 27, 1960 in Winchester, Va., she wed Sherman Bowman, who survives along with two children, Rodney Bowman and his wife, Tracy of Clearfield and Kimberley Bloom and her husband, Gary of North Carolina.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, John and Jason Bowman and Morgan and Emma Bloom as well as a brother, Thomas McCool and his wife, Janice and a sister, Connie Luzier and her husband, Fred, both of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Jodi Bowman.
At the request of Mrs. Bowman, there will be no public visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
