Carolyn Beebe (Bea) Kovall went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017. She died at UPMC Pinnacle Hospital in Harrisburg.

Born Jan. 24, 1932 in Burnside, she was the daughter of Horace Clinton and Jesse Garnet (Rummel) Wright; she was next to the youngest of 15 children.

She graduated from the Mahaffey High School in the class of 1950.  Immediately upon graduation, she began working at the former Dumont Airplane and Marine Co., in Hyde. 

She was also employed as a seamstress at the former McGregor?s Sportswear Factory for many years until its closing. 

She retired as an assistant manager and night manager at Best Western Motor Lodge, Clearfield.

She was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield.  She belonged to the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union Local 118C, and she was a former member of the Democratic Club.

Her greatest joy in life was her family, and nothing mattered more.  She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.  

She looked forward to and cherished every moment shared.  She leaves a legacy of treasured memories, which her family will lovingly embrace forever.

She leaves behind her children, Kemberly (Scott) Duckett and Steve (Brenda) Koval, all of Clearfield, and Barbara (Lewis) Rowles of Curwensville. 

She leaves behind her grandchildren, Shannon (Kurt) Hepfer, Eric Koval and Tim (Amy) Duckett, all of Clearfield,  Tiffanie Erin (Joe) Cortazzo of State College and Todd (Ashlee) Duckett of Osceola Mills and great-grandchildren Austin and Maddy Duckett, Adelyn Koval, Avery and Baylee Cortazzo and Hayes Hepfer.

Also surviving are two sisters, Margery Venoy Lee of Clearfield and Peggy Passmore of Johnstown. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Stanley, Ross, Harold, Robert, Henry and John Wright; and six sisters, Twila Narehood, Della Cerwinsky, Wilma Pearce, Laura Kitchen, Florence Bracken and Jeanne Duclose.

All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
