Terrence Edward “Terry” McKenrick, 74, of Blairsville and formerly of Walltown, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at the home of his granddaughter, Amanda.
Born March 14, 1943 in Walltown, he was the son of Smith James and Mary Bridget (Rafferty) McKenrick. Mr. McKendrick was retired as the human resource director for UPS in New Stanton, Pa.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He was a member of the St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church in Grampian. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
On Sept. 3, 1982 in Washington, Pa., he wed the former Donna L. King, who survives, along with two children, Mary Jane McKenrick of Greensburg and Terrence McKenrick Jr. of Waynesburg.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Daniel McKenrick of New York and Boyd “Bud” McKenrick and his wife, Margaret of Florida and his pet dog, “Snookies.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Ginger Upholster and a brother, Kenneth McKenrick.
Services for Mr. McKenrick will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with Deacon Tony Indelicato officiating.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
