CLEARFIELD – The Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus will perform at Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre (CAST) on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m.  The chorus, from State College, is under the direction of Graham Sanders.

The Nittany Knights have been headquartered in State College for more than 50 years.  These men enjoy the camaraderie and excitement of singing old and new tunes in the four-part A Capella close harmony style.

The chorus repertoire includes both traditional barbershop music, and newer songs the audience will recognize that have been arranged in the barbershop style.  In addition to the 20-plus voice chorus, the performance will feature several quartets comprised of chorus members.

“We are happy to have these very talented musicians joining us at CAST again this year,” commented Mason Strouse, director of the Clearfield Choral Society and board member at CAST.

“We look for performances that will entertain all kinds of people, and the Nittany Knights have something for everyone!”

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online at www.ClearfieldArts.org, at the CAST Office Nov. 13 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., or at the box office prior to the performance.  Group rates are available by contacting CAST.  Doors open at 7 p.m.
