Obituary Notice: Florence C. Stoltz Jack

Florence C. Stoltz Jack, 84, of DuBois and formerly of Emporium, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at Christ the King Manor.

Born June 11, 1933 in St. Boniface, Pa., she is the daughter of the late Wilfred and Anna (Thomas) Anna.

On April 18, 1953, she married Ronald Stoltz. He preceded her in death in 1992. On June 27, 1998, she married Robert Jack. He preceded her in death in 2011.

She was happiest serving her family. She loved to cook meals and pray for those she loved. Out of love for God, she gave to those she knew had needs with no expectation of recognition for herself.

She led a deeply spiritual life. Her Bible was well-worn and highlighted with her favorite verses. She lived a life of beautiful simplicity.

In her last years, she was always sure to express appreciation to anyone who cared for her. We will miss her beautiful smile and the life she lived.

She is survived by seven children, Debra Miller and her husband, Barry, Eric Stoltz and his wife, Cindy, Mark Stoltz and his wife, Sharon, Sally Wigfield and her husband, Greg, Harry Stoltz and his wife, Mary Beth “Biz,” Todd Stoltz and his wife, Beth and Stephen Stoltz and his wife, Billie Jo; three brothers, Edgar, Richard and Dennis Anna; three sisters, Kathleen Waksmunski, Connie Dubetsky and Linda Hoelman; 26 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald, Robert “Bones” and Dan Anna and two sisters, Penny Bender and Mary Grace Strittmatter.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. in DuBois.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Siebert as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Emporium.
