Halloween Horror Film, ‘Nosferatu Reinvented,’ to Show at Reitz Theater

A classic, silent film from the German expressionist period accompanied by a robotic orchestra

DUBOIS – Just in time for Halloween, Broadway violinist and Elk County native, Kurt Koble, brings his award winning robot orchestra, “The P.A.M. Band,” to The Reitz Theater in DuBois.

From Oct. 27-31, he will present screenings of the classic silent horror film ‘Nosferatu” featuring original music. Showtime’s are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.

The film is not recommended for children under 7 years of age. Shot in 1922, starring Max Schreck, the film was an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

You can get yourself into the Halloween spirit and stop by the theater for a fun night full of classic film and a symphony of horror. Tickets are available at the door but are first come, first serve.  You are invited to come in costume.
